Gypsy Magic




In many cultures, magic is an integral part of everyday life.

 The group known as the Rom and referred to as Gypsies - is no exception!

They have a strong and rich magical heritage.

Gypsy Maggie Rose shares some of her ancient magical knowledge with the following gypsy magic rituals.

To remove a person from your space

We are all confronted with times when people can and do become a problem in our lives. Whether it is an unwanted admirer, someone who is causing us pain, or simply a person who constantly drains your energy………..we can move them on without hurting their feelings by practising a little gypsy magic!
You Will Need
Some twiggy bits / a large twig for a handle/ some cotton/ some hair would be an added bonus but not necessary
What to Do
Sit in a quiet spot preferably out doors and make a broom.
Bind the twiggy bits to the main stick with the string thinking of the person leaving your space for ever.
See it being a mutual peaceful parting
Spit on the completed broom three times and say something like
……………... is gone …………... no longer to darken my door
Now if possible place the broom in their pathway so that they have to step over it
[be careful no one else steps over it]
or if that is not possible use sweeping motions to show them out as they leave. Visualising this scenario will work.

Cooking Pot Magic

LET US TAKE A PEEK AT SOMETHING WE ALL NEED AND NEVER HAVE ENOUGH OF…..CASH!!!!!

The witches and gypsies of old did not own or use elaborate magical tools…more often than not it was the family cooking pot or sweeping brush which was called in to double as magical tools.

Also during the Burning times is was not safe to own, or be seen with any item that could call the witch finder down on your head. So let's get down to some good old fashioned cooking pot magic.

Gather together the first four below to attract money and good luck.
This is one time when more is best .
Wash for more
(MONEY BUSINESS)
So the more the merrier.
Main Mix
Cardamon seeds, cinnamon sticks well crushed…..best if it's a d.i.y job, nutmeg, ground cloves
 powdered additions if wished....
dried mint, dried basil, dried orange peel, rose petals, lavender, chamomile,
allspice, lemon verbena
This ritual is best performed on a new moon.
Step 1
Sweep out the entire house, from front to back…seeing all hardship and bad luck leaving.
Gather all dust and sweepings either burn or bury it.
Step 2
Half fill a good sized pot with water and put it on to heat.
Step 3
Pick up ingredients one by one

Feel it - smell it ………tune into the energy of the plant and then drop them into the water with thanks.
When they are all dropped in let the water come to a gentle boil, simmer slowly for ten minutes.
The fragrance brings back memories of Christmas and happy times and visions of the ancient spice routes….now there was real money.
Allow the mix to cool, if you wish you may add essential oils.
I love orange and frankincense. Also port added to the water perks things up.
Using a clean new cloth wipe over doorways, window sills, phones, letterboxes, wallets, cash registers, anything that can bring money to you.
Working tools respond well.. be gentle around electrical equipment.

This mix sometimes looks a bit funny, why worry as long as the cash flow increases you can live with a few streaks and dusty bits.

Strain the remaining liquid into a spray bottle and fill with water and use to top up from time to time…simply spray in each room.

Dry remaining glug and either burn on a charcoal block or add to pot pouri.
Having put in the energy "open doors" for the cash to flow…buy lotto, seek a raise, look for a new job, and promote a new venture.

Expect the unexpected, remember magic happens...... ALWAYS

MYSTIC ROSE OF LOVE
A POSITIVE ENERGY WORKING

Roses have been the symbol of love for untold centuries, so it makes sense to use them to attract love into your life. You will need to do quite a bit of prep for this working, remember always the more you put in the more you get back.

This best performed on a Friday as close to the new moon as possible.

Things begin with the new moon and things grows as the moon becomes full.

Shower and gather the needed bits and retire to your special place of working. Be sure that you have allowed enough time to take this slowly and with care.
Be aware of the old saying “be careful what you ask for - “You may get it”

To your working space take:
One white and one pink candle
One red and one white rose [buds work best]
One piece of pink paper and a red pen
Light the pink and white candles after blessing them with your favourite perfume or oil.
Listen to music, soft gentle love music, or ocean waves are best
Take the paper and divide in half.

On one piece, write all the qualities you wish to attract in a partner, on the opposite half write all the qualities you will bring a partner. Be very honest with this bit.

Cut each rosebud in half, be careful to get equal half’s we do not need a bossy relationship or a one sided thing happening here.

Cut a small piece of your hair. Nape of neck is good.

Place a bit of hair between one half of the red rose

Cover with a half of the white rose, and say these words.

"Lovely goddess of the moon, bless this night with love and bliss.
Roses I offer sealed with a kiss, Love I ask love I give
May my true love be mine."

Kiss the rose and repeat with other halves

Wrap both roses in the paper and tie with pink ribbon

Place them on a window ledge in the bedroom where the moon light will fall on them until full moon

The night after full moon, bury the whole package with these words

Love released ................ Love returns
